新加坡三江梨园社简介
三江梨园社是新加坡三江会馆属下的戏曲团体,成立于2016年。以传承和发扬越剧表演艺术为核心业务。梨园社一直积极参与国内外各项戏曲活动和演出,聘请国内外专业老师开设戏曲表演课程,吸收对戏曲有兴趣的公众人士参加,同时也反映了新加坡三江会馆对三江地区新移民的扶持、和培养年轻人对戏曲艺术的爱好和鉴赏能力,使乡谊源远流长,中华博大精深的戏剧艺术薪火相传。
三江梨园社除了每年在本地举行大型演出,也受到新加坡丽的呼声播音站的邀请,定期每月参加空中播音,传播越剧知识和表演艺术。也获得新加坡国际基金会赞助,作为新加坡艺术使者参加中国绍兴每年举办的”全球越剧戏迷嘉年华”活动,并被授予海外常务理事单位以及受聘于“中华越友会”新加坡站站长职务。2017年受邀在马来西亚吉隆坡举办了两晚“越韵黄梅展风采”专场演出,把越剧和黄梅戏推上了国际戏曲舞台。2019年6月8日,首届新中民间文化交流“同唱一台戏”活动在新加坡戏剧中心剧院拉开帷幕,三江会馆特意邀请了新加坡著名资深戏曲导演张莉执导,三江梨园社联合中国国家一级演员周燕和杭州红梅越剧团合作献演大型神话越剧《追魚》。在疫情期间(2000-2021年),推出了“第一届越剧流派艺术展演”云端演出(2020年)和经典越剧《祥林嫂》现场演出(2021年),越剧的艺术魅力一次又一次倾倒了新加坡观众。2022年10月,我们将推出“第二届越剧流派艺术展演”并计划和中国顶尖的编剧和作曲家合作创作属于我们自己的原创剧。
“越剧流派艺术展演”是三江梨园社的特色旗舰节目,每两年举办一次,让每一位团员尤其是新秀在舞台上展示他们每二年来所学到的舞台表演技术和流派唱腔艺术。梨园社在培养年青年新秀上不遗余力,通过此项目吸引了不少青少年和学生加盟队伍,这是一个推动新加坡越剧艺术发展的重要平台。
2020年“第一届越剧流派艺术展演” 获得了新加坡艺术理事会在疫情期间推出的数码艺术赞助。演员们以精湛的唱腔神韵和舞台表现深情演绎,充分展现越剧艺术独特的魅力和丰富的内涵,为新加坡在COVID-19疫情中增添了一抹亮色,让戏迷朋友们在家里也能欣赏到优美的越音,在心灵上获取慰藉,得到丰沛的精神食量来对抗疫情。节目视频首播后,受到了近7千人次观看,並远播到美国、加那大、澳大利亚地区。同时,梨园社也妥善利用了数码艺术赞助培养了视频制作人才和年轻的司仪人才。
2022年我们将继续推出“第二届越剧流派艺术展演”,精心选用了几折深入人心的经典节目,戏中更是融汇了不少高难度身段技巧和流派唱腔技术,在2022年戏曲大舞台上展示更多新人的风釆。此外,我们在剧本和音乐上进行二度创作,将传统剧本改变成适合新加坡青少年的青春版剧本,幷重新设计和制作音乐,使其更附合当代艺术的节奏感,剧中大部分节目由梨园社的青年演员们担任主要角色,包括了越剧中的花旦,小生,老旦,老生,彩旦等行当和十个不同的流派,幷用全新的方式演绎古老而通俗的故事情节。演员们凭借强烈、准确、真切的表演展现人物细腻的内心世界,使整场演出和谐风趣,极具观赏性。相信定会再一次赢得在场的新老观众发自内心的喜爱。
我们的愿景是将三江梨园社打造成为一个具有专业水准的戏曲团体,为推广中华传统戏曲艺术做出贡献。主要活动和成就包括:主办戏曲艺术讲座和演出,积极推动本地和国外的戏曲演出,和世界各地区优秀戏剧团体进行文化交流和合作演出。曾多次荣获“全球越迷嘉年华”个人兰花奖 (2016,2017,2018和2021年)和2018年度新家坡戏曲胡姬花奖优秀演员奖。
梨园社的发展得到三江会馆领导和国家艺术理事会的大力支持,近几年取得了卓越的成绩,迅速在戏剧界赢得声誉和地位,吸引大批年轻人和专业人士加入社团,提高並弘扬新加坡越剧演绎水平,以严谨的训练和高品位的演绎艺术立足于新加坡,走向世界。
Sam Kiang Chinese Opera Troupe
Sam Kiang Chinese Opera Troupe is the flagship of Sam Kiang Huay Kwan in which its core endeavor is to continue the legacy and flourishing the art of performing traditional Zhejiang Yue Opera. The troupe has been actively engaging in local and overseas activities and performances, organizing professional opera performing courses conducted by Zhang Li, Artistic Director from COI, attracting opera enthusiasts and at the same time reflects the association’s mission of being the pillar of support for new immigrants and fostering young people’s interest and appreciation ability toward traditional opera arts, so as to prolong the friendship with native fellows and enable the broad and profound traditional opera art of China to be passed down from generation to generation.
Besides organizing and participating in local Yue opera performances, Sam Kiang Chinese Opera Troupe is also invited by Rediffusion of Singapore to regularly participate in air broadcasting every month to spread the knowledge and performing arts of Yue opera. The troupe was also sponsored by the Singapore International Foundation to participate in the “Global Yue Opera Fans Carnival” held annually in Shaoxing, China; awarded the title of Overseas Executive Council Unit and employed as the post of Station Master of Singapore Station of “Yue Opera Friendship Association of China”. In Year 2017, the troupe was invited to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to perform two nights on “Showcase of Yue and Huangmei Opera”, which pitched Yue and Huangmei opera to the international traditional opera arena. In 8 Jun 2019, the first Singapore-China folk cultural exchange activity, “Sing A Play Together”, was kicked off at the theater of Singapore Drama Center. Sam Kiang Huay Kwan specially invited Singapore’s famous senior opera director Zhang Li to direct, Sam Kiang Chinese Opera Troupe collaborated with China national first-class performer Zhou Yan and Hangzhou Hongmei Yue Opera Troupe performed a large-scale mythical Yue Opera “The Carp Fairy”. During the pandemic period(2020-2021), the cloud performance of the ” The 1st Zhejiang Yue Opera Genres Arts Show” (2020) and the live performance of the classic Yue Opera “Xianglin Sao” (2021) were launched. The Singapore audiences were overwhelmed with admiration once again by the artistic charm of Yue opera. In October 2022, we will launch the ” The 2nd Zhejiang Yue Opera Genres Arts Show” and plan to collaborate with top Chinese screenwriters and composers to create our own original drama.
“Zhejiang Yue Opera Genres Arts Show” is a featured flagship program under Sam Kiang Chinese Opera Troupe. It is held every two years, allowing every member, especially the young rookies, to perform on the stage to present their stage performing skill and genre singing art that they have learned for the past two years. Sam Kiang Chinese Opera Troupe spares no effort in cultivating young rookies. Through this project, the troupe has attracted many young people and students to join the team, which is an important platform to promote the development of Yue Opera art in Singapore.
In 2020, “The 1st Zhejiang Yue Opera Genres Arts Show” was very honorable to be awarded the NAC PDG Grant. The troupe members, under the teacher’s supervision, have improved tremendously. The actors performed with exquisite singing verve and affectionate stage performance, fully demonstrated the unique charm and rich connotation of Yue Opera art and brought in a touch of bright light for Singapore amid the COVID-19 outbreak, thus not only allowing the fans to enjoy the beautiful rhyme of Yue opera, but also getting solace in the soul and have abundant spiritual food to fight against the pandemic. After the program video was first broadcast, it was watched by nearly 7,000 people, and was broadcast to the United States, Canada, and Australia. At the same time, Sam Kiang Chinese Opera Troupe also made good use of the NAC PDG Grant to cultivate video production talents and young emcee talents.
In 2022, we will continue to roll out “The 2nd Zhejiang Yue Opera Genres Arts Show” and elaboratively selected a few popular classic Yue operas to show-play. In the plays, a lot of difficult figure posture performing skills and genre singing techniques will be integrated, allowing more newcomers to exhibit their elegancy on the grand stage in 2022. In addition, on the scripts and music, we will carry out a second time creation, transforming traditional script into a youth version that is suitable for Singapore teenagers. We will also redesign and produce music to make it more in line with the rhythm of contemporary art. In the opera play, most of the main characters will be performed by young performers from Sam Kiang Chinese Opera Troupe, including Huadan (花旦), Xiaosheng (小生), Laodan (老旦), Laosheng (老生), Caidan (彩旦) and other character modeling (行当) as well as ten different genres singings in Yue Opera. We will also be using a totally new way to interpret the old but popular storyline. The performers will show the delicate inner world of the characters, by virtue of their strong, accurate and truthful performances, making the whole performance harmonious and interesting, and highly ornamental. We believe it will once again win the hearts of the new and old audience present in the show.
The vision of Sam Kiang Chinese Opera Troupe is to forge the troupe into a professional traditional opera troupe, and to make contributions towards promoting Chinese traditional opera arts. The main activities and achievements of the troupe are organizing seminars on traditional opera performing arts and stage performance, actively promote local and overseas opera performances, cultural exchange and co-performance with top drama troupes in the World. The troupe has won many times on the Individual and Team Orchid Award (Year 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2020) in the “Global Yue Opera Fanciers Carnival” and the Outstanding Performer Award in Year 2018 Singapore Traditional Opera Orchid Award.
The development of the troupe has received tremendous strong support from the management of Sam Kiang Huay Kwan and National Arts Council (NAC). The troupe has obtained excellent results in recent years, quickly gaining reputation and status in the traditional opera world, attracting large number of young people and professional audiences to join the troupe, raises and promotes the performing standard of the Singapore Yue Opera. The troupe, with rigorous training and high-graded performing arts, established itself in Singapore and heading towards international arena.
